Natalie is a candidate for Salt Lake County Council At Large "C". This means every single voter in Salt Lake County has the opportunity to vote for her. If Natalie is elected she will be one of nine people on the County Council which is the legislative body of the county.
The Salt Lake County Council is the legislative body of the county government. You can think of it like Congress, the state legislature, or your local city council. The Salt Lake County Council is made up of nine members, 6 who are elected to represent districts and 3 who are elected to represent the whole county. Together these nine individuals are responsible for managing the county's nearly 2 billion dollar budget, creating and amending county laws, and certifying the county's election results.
